We were established in January 2010 in Old Townsite Pearland right by the railroad tracks. At that time, our little blue building was one of the first specialty coffee shops in Pearland, Tx. From the beginning, we’ve been passionate about honoring the history of our community, making space for people in all walks of life, as well as roasting and serving high-quality coffee from farms around the world.
History
We are people focused and community driven. Whether it be our shop regulars, first timers, other small businesses, coffee farmers, partners, or anyone in between–our desire is to support and uplift everyone in our corner. This isn’t just our coffee shop, but it’s YOURS too.
We began as a shop local to Pearland with neighborhoods all around us and have grown to have more shops in the burbs. Good neighbors value hospitality, friendship, and want everyone to feel that they have a spot at their table–this is what we strive for seven days a week.
Our art and passion is coffee and we honor every step of the process from the growing of each coffee cherry to your first sip. Our beans are high-quality and ethically sourced from farmers all around the world like Brazil, Ethiopia, Colombia and Costa Rica to name a few. We are grateful for each farmer, producer, and importer that makes it possible for beans to arrive at our roastery. From there, we roast the coffee beans with excellence and hand-package them with love. The whole beans then make their way to our customers, partners, and baristas. Our baristas skillfully craft each coffee beverage that then makes its way to our friends across the counter.
We know life can get hectic, and we never want to add to the hustle and bustle. Our desire, rather, is that as society urges you to hurry up, we invite you to slow down. Just as the train beside our original location will literally stop traffic for a while, we want to be a space where you can stop the traffic of your life for a while. So, feel free to bring a book or craft, bring that friend you haven’t talked to in a while, take a breath, take a sip, and sit back with your neighbors at PCR.
